L’Atelier San Mattia partecipa a Koinè, la rassegna internazionale di arredi, oggetti liturgici e arte sacra che si terrà alla Fiera di Vicenza dal 13 al 16 aprile 2013.

Durante i giorni della fiera l’Atelier San Mattia presenta i seguenti eventi:

• WORKSHOP “LA RAFFIGURAZIONE DEL SACRO NEL MOSAICO”

  Alle ore 10,30 e alle 15,00 di ogni giornata di fiera, l’Atelier San Mattia (stand 161B) presenta l’incontro “La raffigurazione del sacro nel mosaico”: un excursus storico-artistico su come e perchè, nel corso dei secoli, il sacro sia stato raffigurato in maniera diversa nella pittura musiva, con una riflessione sulle possibilità espressive del mosaico in epoca contemporanea.
  L’incontro sarà condotto dalla Dott.ssa Elisa Bigi, mosaicista diplomata all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna e pedagogista esperta in “pedagogia dell’arte”.
  Ogni workshop, in italiano, avrà la durata di circa 30-40 minuti; i posti disponibili per ciascun incontro sono 6.
  La partecipazione è gratuita e ad esaurimento posti.

• LABORATORIO DI PITTURA MUSIVA

  Durante le giornate della fiera l’Atelier di arte sacra “San Mattia” ospita il laboratorio di pittura musiva, per mostrare le fasi che, dalla progettazione, portano al taglio delle tessere e alla realizzazione di un mosaico.

The San Mattia Atelier will be at Koinè, the international exhibition for sacred art and liturgical objects and furniture. The exhibition will be held in Vicenza from April 13th to April 16th 2013.

We will be exhibiting at booth 161 B, with a selection of our mosaics and tapestries. Follow the link to Koinè Expo to find our entry in the online catalogue.

Throughout the Exhibition, San Mattia Atelier will organize the following events:

• WORKSHOP: “REPRESENTING THE SACRED THROUGH MOSAICS”

  Everyday throughout the event, at 10.30 am and at 3.00 pm the “Representing the sacred through mosaics” will be held at the San Mattia Atelier (booth 161B). This workshop aims to explain from a historical and artistic point of view how and why, throughout the centuries, the sacred has been represented in several different ways through mosaic art, and it will also focus on potential representations of mosaics in the present day.
  The workshop will be lead by Dr. Elisa Bigi, mosaic artist graduated at the Art Academy in Bologna and expert in “art pedagogy”.
  Each workshop will be held in Italian and will last approximately 30-40 minutes; for each workshop there will be 6 places available. They will be free while seats last.

• MOSAIC LABORATORY

  During the days of the exhibition, the San Mattia sacred art Atelier will organize a mosaic laboratory in order to demonstrate the different steps in the production of a mosaic work of art: from planning to tile cutting.
